Sport Pilot and Sport Pilot CFI applicant training, knowledge exam and checkride test prep for flying and teaching in fixed-wing, weight-shift, & powered parachute light sport aircraft.
The Hamilton Pilot Training System (HPTS), is a flight and ground training system to teach students to learn to fly (and instruct in) light sport aircraft including fixed-wing aircraft (airplanes), weight-shift control aircraft (trikes), and powered parachutes to become Sport Pilots and Sport Pilot Certified Flight Instructors (CFIS).
- Sport Pilot and Sport Pilot Certified Flight Instructor (CFIS) applicants use the system with an Instructor and/or as a home study course.
- Sport Pilot Certified Flight Instructors use it to instruct their Sport Pilot and Sport Pilot Certified Flight Instructor (CFIS) applicants.
The training system, developed by Sport Pilot industry leader, Paul Hamilton, CFI, DPE, SPE, SPIE, uses a building block approach that optimizes training time in becoming a safe and confident pilot, while balancing the enthusiasm and passion for flight.
As seen in EAA Sport Pilot, Aero Connections, and USUA Ultralight Flying magazines!
